Nevado Alpamayo is renowned for its striking, pyramid-shaped summit and is often considered one of the most beautiful peaks in the world. With an elevation of 5,947 meters (19,511 feet), it is a prominent peak in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru. Alpamayo is famous for its steep ice walls and challenging climbing routes, making it a sought-after objective for experienced mountaineers.

Itinerary

Price Includes:
  • Transport: From Huaraz to the starting point of your activity, and
    from the end point of your activity back to Huaraz.
  • Guide: Qualified and experienced mountain guide.
  • Donkey Driver: Manage and guide the donkeys that carry group
    equipment and supplies. They may be replaced by porters
    depending on the expedition.
  • Donkeys: Transport tents, food, and climbing ropes to and from
    base camp. Participants must carry their own personal gear.
    Porters may replace donkeys for some expeditions.
  • Equipment: includes all technical and personal equipment such
    as: ropes, carabiners, hiking boots, ice ax, crampons, helmet,
    harness, first aid kit.
Not Included:
  • Entrance fee to Huascaran National Park.
  • Additional expenses: as a result of leaving the expedition early, as
    a result of emergency rescue and/or evacuation, extra food or
    drinks in the villages, medical treatment.
